2600 won't connect to internet after IOS upgrade

We have a 2610 router that was running IOS c2600-i-mz_120-5_t1.bin. This is used to access the internet (a 128k frame connection with Sprint). We had originally tried to upgrade the IOS to c2600-ik8s-mz.122-8.T4.bin and after loading it, we could not connect to the internet. We have since tried IOS versions c2600-ik8s-mz.122-6.bin & c2600-ik9o3s-mz.122-8.T5.bin with the same results. We have also tried a brand new 2610XM with the same results.

With the new IOS, when we ping www.yahoo.com, it resolves the DNS and then we get a reply timed out message 4 times. If we do a tracert to yahoo, it gets through sprint and almost all the way to yahoo before it get timed out.

We need to get the c2600-ik9o3s-mz.122-8.T5.bin IOS working on the 2610XM. Any ideas on what could be wrong? All access lists and configs appear to be identical.

Thanks,

John

Who can't ping/traceroute/surf the internet, the router (which interface inside or outside) or hosts? Is NAT involved? The IOS you want has IPSec, are you using it?
