I have a 2620 to 2920 using 802.1q to trunk working fine. I have tried to do the same with a 2610 and 2924 but with now luck. I am using the Latest 2924 code and 12.2-8t code on the router. Is a 10Mb full duplex trunk supported in this configuration ?

Trunking on routers require a FastEthernet interface.

That wouldn't be possible for a 2610 because it only has

a 10Mpbs ethernet port.

Yes, it is possible to do 802.1q on a 2610 10 meg interface. IP PLUS feature set is needed. I'm doing it where I am with 12.0T code of some flavor.

IOS 12.0(1)T - feature added / introduced

IOS 12.1(3)T - native keyword added to encaps command

Before 12.1.3T the native VLAN has to be on the physical interface... (native vlan isn't tagged). Tagged VLANs put on subinterfaces.

The code that allows trunking on the 2600 series router is correct, but in order to trunk you must have at least a 2620 router.

ebergquist,

This is only the case for isl trunking, dotq is supported on 261x in certain iosses, i am using a 2611 with a 3500xl and dot1q trunking right as i type.
