2611 bandwidth control problem

Leased line 1Mbps to Internet,i try to distribute bandwidth to

different application.example,ftp can use max 400Kbps.

yesterday,i try to use Class-Based Weighted Fair Queueing

do it ,but it only attach a service policy to the output interface

so,how can i control bandwidth to the 2611 input serial interface?

Custom queuing is the best way to restrict bandwidth for certain protocols. See the following URL for more information -

You can use CAR for this.

access-list 120 tcp permit any any eq ftp

rate-limit input access-group 120 400000 50000 50000

This will do the needfull

Hi

You can't control input trafic because it depond from the remote router and not from your's so you can only distribute out put trafic
