2611 memory upgrade

Help please! I have a 2611 router I am using for my lab and I am trying to upgrade from 32M (one strip) to 64M (two strips). The first 32M strip is recognized by the system, but the second strip is not -- so I never see more than 32M DRAM memory. Could this be an issue with the boot ROM? (I have ROM version 11.3(2)). I can swap the SIMM strips from one slot to the other (or just use one strip) and the result is the same -- 32M. Any ideas?

Re: 2611 memory upgrade

It is not an issue with the boot ROM. Most likely you have memory that is not compatible with the Cisco 2611. You may want to get with the company you purchased the memory from to get the issue resolved.
