2612 TokenRing-Eth. Bridging Problems (aging-time)

I have just installed a 2612 router making a translational

bridging between one Ethernet and one Token-Ring Interfaces

My problem is the following one:

The bridging table is dynamically filled by the router. However, the cisco

router periodically clears the bridging table according the bridge-group

aging time.In my case, it causes communications problem between both LANs: If I ping a station from TR lan to Ethernet LAN, the ping can work correctly a

few minutes (if the station pinged is known by router and is therefore

present in the bridge table). After a few minutes, the ping doesn't work any

more and I notice that the table has been cleared by the router. As my

stations don't move from a network to another one, I would like to avoid

this problem by increasing the aging time to 3600s for example ("bridge 1

aging-time 3600" in config mode). But when I change this timer to 3600,

after a few minutes, the router sets back itself this timer to 15s and the

table is cleared again. It seems impossible to manage this timer and to

avoid a too fast update of the table ?

Does anyone know a solutions/workaround for this problem?

Thanks in advance

Tom

It looks like a bug in cisco IOS. If you haven't already, you might want to check to see if there is any known bugs.
