I think I'm almost clear on this config. This will support ISDN and/or analog callin clients. It can be deployed globally (with minor variances). Multilink connections can be handled, up to max bandwidth. Now, I think I just need a valid configuration script to be out of everyone's way.
Can you help, please? Still like a new-born... :7/ roland

Here is the place you will find the sample config for 3600 supporting modem calls over bri line
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/471/bri_3640.html
To terminate the isdn calls, pl. visit
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/793/access_dial/ddr_dialer_profile.html
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/129/config-bri-map.html
Now to support both isdn and analog calls, combine the two configs..Thx..Tejal

Is this the same information fro the 2620 model? I apologize for my simple-minded questions... :7)

2620 can't have Digital modem modules NM-18DM but can have analog modem modules NM-16AM. So on 2620, the analog call over isdn line is not supported. So pl. explain more about what router you have with what modules and what kind of calls you want to terminate on it..Thx..Tejal

2620 with the NM-16A would require external devices, like 56K v.90 modems and an expansion cable, right?
That would not work because I need digital service via ISDN for BRI connecting warehouses, and no I have external modem devices available.
In China (2 locations) I have a 3662 at one site, but no existing hardware, at the second. In Argentina same as the latter. In U.S.A., Nebrakska, also no hardware.
At all sites Client modems and ISDN TA's must be able to complete calls to a single Access Server platform.
I apologize for being a deluge of questions...

Right.NM-16A requires external modems in order to terminate the modem calls.
So if you want to terminate the ISDN as well as modem calls, i would prefer 3600 router with bri modules and NM-xxDM modules..That gives you option to terminate isdn calls on bri line and analog calls (over the same bri line) terminated on digital modems (NM-xxDM)
