2620 + WIC-1ADSL on SBC/Pacbell internet services

Anyone out there using the WIC-1ADSL card on a PacBell/SBC internet services DSL link? I understand that pacbell uses alcatel equipment. I'd like to confirm compatibility prior to purchase

Thanks

Many customers are using it..so it will work..Now real issue is, how pacbell have configured the line..PPPoA, PPPoE, RFC1483 Bridging or routing etc..

You will find many sample config about those at following location

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/794/index.shtml

Pl. locate the "Cisco ADSL WIC"

I believe for "router" configurations, PacBell/SBC use RFC1483 bridging. Not sure what they use for customers who order enhanced dsl (thus have 5 static IPs) and receive a modem.

Well you need to be sure about the config of the line..If they have given you the 5 static routable ip address then its hard to belive that its just "RFC1483 Bridging"

Try the IRB OR RFC1483 routing..etc..You wll find sample config on various routers at following url
