I am new to all this cisco stuff, so my question is very easy I have a 2900XL running IOS 12.0 and I want to upgade it to the lastest IOS. Will the lastest IOS run on the 2900XL, if so how would I upgrade.

Hi,

go to CCO software center (http://www.cisco.com/kobayashi/sw-center)

or Cat2900XL download directory directly (http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/cat2900XL)

Download the latest IOS (12.0.5.WC8) and Release Notes.

The Release Notes contain HW requirements and upgrade instructions.
