I'm trying to run a Veritas NetBackup on a server which is connected to a 2924. If I display the interface I'm showing 8426005 input errors; the port led is blinking green/amber. This I found means there is a Link Fault.
When I looked up what this meant I found the following definition from Cisco: "Error frames can affect connectivity, and errors such as excessive collisions, CRC errors, and alignment and jabber errors are monitored for a link-fault indication."
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Could it be the NIC on the server or an overload on the 2924? Both switch and server are locked at 100/full.
