Has anyone got an ideas on how to automatically re-configure 2924XL-EN switches from a configuration file?
I'm trying to create two different setups of VLAN's and port assignments that can be selected and loaded to the switch.
The problem that I'm having is that the configuration file dosen't seem to contain any VLAN information. When I do a 'write network' command to upload the config file, there are only port assignments in it.
Yes, they do appear. They are not named as I would like, though. Is there a way to automatically change the VLAN names from the config file?
Also, is there any other way of sending the files to the switch other than using TFTP? I would prefer a way that dosen't require any input to the switch via the console port (like typing in 'conf net' etc.).
