Re: 2950 IOS upgrade ERROR !?

It looks like you may have a command like 'boot system c2950-i6k2l2q4-mz.121-22.EA7.bin' in your config.

Remove the command, save config and try rebooting the switch.

Let us know if that resolves your issue.

Re: 2950 IOS upgrade ERROR !?

Do you have a 'boot system' command in the config? If you have one in there can you post the command. Also, post the output of show flash.

Re: 2950 IOS upgrade ERROR !?

Thanks Sundar ! problem solved !!!

by the way, why we no need include the 'boot system c2950-i6k2l2q4-mz.121-22.EA7.bin' command? This command is to tell the device to boot from this image rite ?????!

Re: 2950 IOS upgrade ERROR !?

If you have more than one image in the flash this command tells the device which order to boot image from. If you have only one image or if you always want the device to use the first (from top) image to be used then you don't need to the boot system command.

It would have worked in your case excepting that your syntax was slightly off. The command should have been 'boot system flash:(image_name)'. You were missing the flash:
