CW2000 thinks my 2950G-48-EI switches are "ciscoProducts.429". The correct properties of a 2950G-48 are not recognised and we cannot manage the switch through CW2000. Latest device packages have been installed. Software is 12.1(6)EA2a and 12.1(9)EA1d. Any ideas anybody?

What version of RME and Campus Manager you have in your CW2K bundle?. It depends on that. 2950G-48 is only supported in RME 3.4 with RME34.IDU.v1-0 installed from CCO. Campus Manager 3.2 supports this switch as well.

Thanks for the reply. We are already running RME 3.4 and CM 3.2 both from 7-22-2002. What is RME34IDU.v1-0 and how do I get it?

Thanks. We opened a TAC and got the information from there. It works now.

Do you know if there is a way of getting RME3.3 and Campus Manager 3.1 to support them as well ?
Will the latest IDU or patch's do the trick ?
Thank you.
