2950T buffer failures

Hello everyone,

I'm seeking advise to resolve my findings in Catalyst switch 2950T, The switch appears hang up when i encounter the problem while connected remotely (telnet) further invistigation shows that my uplink and their physical connection in use by the work station are just fine.

However the work station connected are experiencing a slowdown, i check my memory utilization and processor utilization but seems theyre just ok (26% for the CPU and 60% for the memory).

I attach the buffers failure listed below for a reference and to help me to determine if this is the cause of my problem.

Can you paste the output of sh ver? Also check to see if there is any broadcast/multicast storm hitting your switch and depleting the buffers

Thanks for the reply... Should I look per interface to determine the utilzation? The switch is located in VLAN12 of my VLAN network, by the way there are about 12 same cases (located in different VLAN segment ) i notice and all of them experiencing the same problem, All of the switch I mentioned are Catalyst 2950T
