2955 error

Hi all,

i have a 2955 switch that 5 min after power up stops forwarding traffic on all its ports, without any port or system led error indication.The ports stay up/up while there is not any log message about POST or any other error.

Sounds like a possible bug with the ios code you are running at present.

would suggest to post the exact ios version over here (the ios filename),if possible do check out for the latest ios code available for the 2955 series switch and go for a upgrade.

12.1(22)EA5 this is the latest version available for both 2950 and 2955 ...

Think 12.1.22 ea6 is the latest version for the 2950.

We are running this and there are no known problems with this release that I know of .
