I have been trying to install a 350 NIC into my windows 2000 laptop and always get told "Network Cable disconnected" What am I doing wrong?

Assuming you are referring to the 350 Aironet card/NIC. Open your Aironet client utility and ensure you are associated with an access point/or other device. If you are not then there are several configuration options that might be at Fault. I'd get with your admin to see what your SSID/LEAP Specifics/Wep Keys/etc are being used to ensure your settings are correct. There are several specific LEAP and other authentication specifics that can keep your adapter from getting connected and show "network Cable disonnected".

I have done all that. I have configured the AP myself and I am able to connect to the AP and get an IP with a laptop running Windows 98. I have the AP set up in our demo room and I have no security setting let. It has me thinking it is a windows 2000 issue.???
