3550 IOS Version 12.1(11)EA1

Hi Guys!

I read up on the spanning-tree issues that affected some of the 3550 switches, and decided to upgrade from IOS version 12.1(9)EA1c to IOS version 12.1(11)EA1 - as recommended by Cisco.

I did the upgrade yesterday, and since then, the 3550 has been running at 25% more CPU utilization than before the upgrade. It used to run at between 3% and 8% CPU utilization, but now it is running at 25% and higher.

Anyone of you guys experienced the same problem?

Sorry, forgot to mention that we're running the EMI version on the 3550. As soon as I disable the ACLs on the switch, the CPU utilization drops to 5%.
