3550 link to 3750

I have two Catalyst 3550-48-SMI With Gigastack module.

I want to know if will be possible to link with other two stack Catalyst 3750G-24TS.

I know that isn’t possible to stack them. (3550 uses Gigastack and the 3750 uses Stackwise).

But I want to link their, by 1000BaseT.

Will be ok that?

I plug a 1000BaseT GBIC-Gigabit Ethernet over Copper GBIC on a 3550.

Link with crossover cable from 3550’s GBIC to anyway 3750’s port.

According to this document on the compatibilty of switches with the 1000base T GBIC, the 3750 doesn't seem to be listed. So you would have to plug it to your 3550 and link it to the 3750 as you suggested.
