3550 Link up and down

These setup was in port channel mode for 3550, but we didn't do anything on the servers and also from the 3550 switch. One of my desktop support reported that these machine has not been backup last night. Whe I show logging, I found out these error messages from the 3550 switches.

I don't think if these 4 cables are bad, connected between server and switch.

Re: 3550 Link up and down

Hi,

do you have fix settings of speed and duplex on both, the switch and NICs or is autosensing configured? I sometimes see such troubles with autosensing speed and duplex.

Re: 3550 Link up and down

Yes it is, those are hard coded end-to-end to 100 Full Duplex mode. I was just wodering these port 9/10/11/12 are configured to EtherChannel setup and it should work on a load balancing. Why I haven't seen any load balancing on the switch EtherChannel on port 9/10/11/12.
