Hello,

I'm looking for comments on the design of the LAN for our regional offices.

Basically there will be 2 diverse load balanced WAN connections each with it's own 2821 Router. LAN infrastructure consists of up to 6 x 3550 switches. Local servers will have dual NICs.

What will be the best way to 'stack' the 3550's and connect to the WAN routers - redundancy & load balancing are paramount. Bascially 2 switches are 'core' is in this design.

Attached is a proposed L2 configuration.

After reading some Cisco design docs the recommendation is not to use STP but rather L3.

Any comments appreciated!
