Ran into trouble with CheckPoint F/W and Cisco 3550 Swicth. Seems like when Checkpoint F/W multicasts VRRP address across 3550 Switch, the F/W sees MAC Addresses from several interfaces. We had to install a HUB or revert back to a Cisco 2900 Switch to correct the problem Can someone explain????

Sounds like you are trying to map a multicast mac address to a unicast ip. The workaround is to statically define it in the switch.

mac-address-table static 0100.5e00.2356 vlan 3 interface FastEthernet0/1 FastEthernet0/2

and put in a static arp
