3550 Switch reboot & DHCP Issues

Since I rebooted my Cisco 3550 switches, my dhcp server will no longer give out new ip addresses. When a device comes onto the network, the dhcp recognizes that it ask for an ip address and it gives it one according to the dhcp pool. However, on the workstation it comes back with an ip of 0.0.0.0 and when I do an ipconfig /renew I get the error message of: The following error occurred when renewing adapter Local Area Connection: Unexpected network failure or insufficient access. This did not happen until after I had to shutdown the cisco switches. I moved them in the switch cabinet. Everything is plugged back into the exact same port as what they was before the shutdown. Please help.

Thank You

Have you checked that your ip helper adresses are still in place after the reboot?

Regards,

Leo

Yes the ip helper is still in place. I have also turned portfast off and on to try that and it did not work either. Thanks for the idea though.
