3570 with intel 1000 network cards

We have a catalyst 3570 switch with 10/100/1000 ports and when we connect our 2 servers which have intel pro/1000 cards and transfer large files between them the connection is lost between them and stops at about 8% the file transfer.

we have configured the switched for full duplex and half duplex and speed auto or fixed at giga and 100.

any ideas.

Hi

I have a 3750 (EMI) w/ servers using the same cards w/ no problems. Have you tried moving to different ports? I always make sure the port is strapped at both ends instead of set to autonegotiate. Are the servers in the same subnet?

sorry I made a mistake the switch is a 3750 like yours. The servers are on the same subnet and in the same vlan. And we have tried to fix the speeds and duplexes on both ends.

any ideas
