will a 3620 router with a second ethernet module be able to route ethernet connections from cable modems.

The 3600 does not have a cable-modem interface; but if there were a cable-modem off of the ethernet, sending out IP packets, the 3600 could route (or bridge) them. The source of the IP packet doesn't really matter.

Will need to understand the topology better (Private / Public networks) & description of tryng to reach from where to where.
Is the cable modem in routing or bridging mode?
Thanks,Mak.

I am assuming that the cable modem is in bridging mode, this should help
