3640 as Remote Dial-in Access Server

Hi, I would like to set a spare 3640 router up as RAS for user to dial in from home modem to the BRI in 3640. The following is the show version. What do I need to accomplish that? (ISO upgrade? Memory upgrade? Digital Modem Module, and where can I buy NM-12D?..)

Re: 3640 as Remote Dial-in Access Server

Your IOS and everything is fine as far as doing modem over BRI feature is concerned. Since you have 4 BRIs (meaning 8 B channels) so at the most you

require 8 internal modems. So you are right that NM-12DM is what you need.

For purchasing, you might want to go under "Ordering" on CCO an go from there.
