3640 WAN interfaces

look this diagram:

----3640--(E3)----DSU/CSU-----(N*E1)----WAN

Because i have lots of E1 from WAN, i want

to buy dsu/csu device to terminate the N*E1, the DSU/CSU has E3 interface to connect to the router 3640, but it seems that the 3640 has not E3 interface (it only has E3 FOR ATM-----NM-1A-E3), if connect to the NM-1A-E3,it could work? if not,

how can i do ? any idea is appreciated.

thank you,

Looks like it's only supported in 7200s

Re: 3640 WAN interfaces

Research IMA solutions. AT&Ts IMA solution can provide up to 8 T1s as a single host port. ALSO keep in mind that you do not need to terminate the the service in to your Cisco 3640 but a device such as the Kentrox CellSMART can terminate the IMA.
