3661 route with NMIFE2CT1-CSU CARD

Hi,

I have a cisco 3661 router and I am planning to use NMIFE2CT1-CSU PRI CARD in the router as 38 mobile remote users will be dialing in to this router from various locations using analog lines for data connection only.

I want to know do I also need to populate the router with NM-30DM DIGITAL MODEM card (2 NOS.). if so why?.

The analog users or isdn users will dial into the NMIFE2CT1-CSU PRI CARD ........based on the bearercap where the call is terminated is decided.

The analog dialup users will terminate on the internal digital modems (NM-xDM).

2CT1 pri card will only terminate the isdn calls dialin using bri/pri line but You need modem (analog or digital) to terminate the calls originated via analog modem using POTS line...So NM-30DM is a 30 port digital modem module used to terminate the modem calls dialed on T1 line using analog line..
