3750 - 1.5 RU variety

Hi,

I have a silly question

Why is there a 1.5 RU variety of the 3750G switches when the 1 RU size provides teh same functionality

Thanks

Nathan

Re: 3750 - 1.5 RU variety

Hi,

The 1.5RU model was released before the 1RU model. With advances in technology, Cisco engineers were able to get the TS model down to 1RU.

There are no differences in functionality between both models.

Re: 3750 - 1.5 RU variety

I hate to point out that the 1U and the none-1U models provide the same features from the look of the list you provided.

The Enhanced (which I believe is called IP services image) versions both provide full IP routing, while the Standard (IP base) versions both provide basic routing.

The OP is asking what's the difference between the 1U and the 1.5U models w/ the same image.

I'm curious too so if anyone knows please post.
