3750 Vs 4500 Vs 6500 Capacity Limitations

Hi There,

I have a customer who has 150 employees and is using 4 X 3750 stacked switches in the core network. The customer is planning to grow to 3000 users in 2 years.

The questions is, would the 3750 core switch they're currently using be able to scale and handle the traffic for 3000 users; and in which cases is it recommended to upgrade to the 4500 or the 6500 series switches? Is there a capacity limitation for each model per the number of users it can handle, number of connections... etc?

Appreciate your feedback.

Best Regards,

Haitham
