Hi,
For 3550s and smaller version of switches, we used to need to use Gigastack or Fibre cables to interconnect switches for Fast Uplink.
But now the 3750s have its internal stackwise ports which I can interconnect the switches. So do I need the SFP modules to link the switches for Gigabit uplinks? If not, what's the SFP modules for ?
Cheers

Hi,
Catalyst 3750 series switches uses the StackWise ports to stack up to 9 Catalyst 3750 LAN switches, you will need to use the StackWise cables that comes together with the 3750.
You don't need the SFP modules to link up Catalyst 3750s, it is used as the Gigabit uplinks to connect other Catalyst LAN switches that has gigabit ports.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Chris
