Have you tried the following which are default passwords
security security
manager manager
Or if you can get in via the Web Interface try the following
Login Manager
Password - password
or
Security
Security
Other than that remove the battery backup if you have direct access to it this will default the box and return to login of admin with no password
Nothing on the 3Com site for this one
Regards

Hi,
You can recover the default passwords by doing software upgrade via console port. Unfortunately you lose all other configuration too, as the unit initializes config.

Hi,
in earlier versions of SS3300 (2 years ago) you could recover the password with the foillowing procedure:
1. Power on the switch
2. When ALL LEDs are lit, press the reset button on the back (perhaps twice)
3. On the serial console you should see a ">" prompt
4. Type "RIP 0000", all caps, space and the four times 0
5. type b
I did it once a while back and it worked

Have you tried "security / security" and / or "admin / admin"?
