4 or 8 MB FLASH memory for 2500 ?

I do have a problem to find info on CCO about this:

Can I use 8 MB FLASH chips on a 2500 router with boot ROM 10.2(5) ?

Boot ROM ver 10.2(5) will support 8 MB flash but the restriction is , it can work on Cisco 2501 - 2504 and other models except for Cisco 2509 -2512.
