4006 and vtp version 2

Quick Question..... Does the 4006 supII have vtp version 2 enabled by default or do I have to manually enable it? Here is what my config shows......

Domain Name Domain Index VTP Version Local Mode Password

----------------------- --------- ---------- ------------- --------- ----------

N/A 1 2 server configured

Vlan-count Max-vlan-storage Config Revision Notifications

---------- ---------------- --------------- -------------

15 1023 0 disabled

Last Updater V2 Mode Pruning PruneEligible on Vlans

--------------- -------- -------- ------------- ------------

disabled disabled 2-1000

As you can see V2 Mode is disabled. Does this mean that VTP v.2 is disabled even though it shows vtp version 2 ???? I'm confused, can anyone give advice. ~Thanks in advance

It is disabled by default. The "VTP Version" field indicates that the switch is v2 capable.

There is typically no reason to enable v2 unless you have 5K's with token ring in your network.

Thank you very much ;-)
