4006 port channel on sup II 1/1-2

I have 2 4006 switches that are connected via Multi-Mode Fiber on ports 1/1-2 on their respective sup II engines. Here's my question.... From Switch - A the 'show port channel 1' shows ports 1/1-2 connected desirable silent mode. I then telnet to Switch - B which shows ports 1/1-2 connected in auto silent mode. Is this a CISCO recomended Channel Mode for those ports? The purpose of this config is to have a 2 GIG link between the two switches. Does anyone have any advice?

Channel mode auto and desirable are compatible and so your channel is up. I dont foresee any issues, but I suggest that you change the channel mode to "desirable".
