4006 problems with modules

I have a 4006 with version 12.1(8A) IOS 4014 supervisor engine, 4418-GB, and a 4424-GB RJ45 modules. System starts OK everything goes green, I do a module check with show modules get OK on all. Then tested the card reset with HW-module slot 2 reset and it works ok. Then about 6 minutes afer starting red lights go on the two modules, if I try to addess them the IOS returns code cards not present. any one got any suggestions.

Re: 4006 problems with modules

From the problem description, looks like you do not have sufficient power. Make sure atleast 2 power supplies are up and running(which is the minimum requirement). If you have a third power supply, you can use it for load sharing and redundancy.

Just to let you know I powered up the second supply and it solved the problem, I will order a standby after the weekend.
