4006 Switch error message

Has anybody seen this message on a 4006 switch (5-5-10a Catos). If so, what does it mean?

%SYS-4-P2_WARN: 1/Astro(3/6) - timeout is persisting

Re: 4006 Switch error message

It could indicate some STP issues or bad line card/sup. Try to see if you see anything out of the ordinary in module 3 like broadcast traffic/port errors.

If you do not, the best step in troubleshooting is to move the line card to another slot.If the error messages follow the line card, the problem is a line card failure.Otherwise, the problem is most likely a failure on the Supervisor. . I suggest that you open up a TAC case and provide the output of

sh logging buffer -1023

dump 1

sh health 1

show env 1
