4503 switch

Dear All,

One of gigabit ethernet port 3/5 of 4503 switch connected to gig port on 3560,shows error message "

_MISMATCH: duplex mismatch discovered on GigabitEthernet3/5 (not full duplex), with 3560 "

The gig 3/5 on 4503 is configured for auto duplex & speed .

find show inetrafce of gig 3/5

can somebody help?

It seems autonegotiation is failing between these 2 switches.

Can you post the exact port config from both switches ?

Hi,

Maybe you have hard-coded the speed/duplex settings on the port in 3560. Just check the settings on the port on 3560. Make speed/duplex auto in 3560 and it should work fine. Or else why not hard-code the speed and duplex settings on ports on both the switch?? That should help!
