5500 Supervisor IIIG swap out

Hi,

I am going to swap out a fault supervisor IIIG from a switch with 2 supervisor engines.

The faulty card is in slot 1 and I am obviously going to make the card in slot 2 the active card before a start but I can't remember what if anything I need to do to get the config onto the new card.

I think the switch will just recognise that the configs are different and do the necessary but I am not sure ????

That is correct. Once you install the replacement Sup, the config will automatically sync from the active
