6500 to Extreme connectivity

Hi, I expect this will be OK but is anyone aware of any gotchas for interconnecting 6500 to Extreme Summit and Diamonds. this will be at both 1000base SX and TX. Any issues with trunking perhaps. I know that I need to disable cdp, udld possibly autonegotiate, rgds.

On the Extreme Switch:The switch will not be able to route until the following conditions exist.

Create and configure VLANS

Assign and IP address to each VLAN that is using routing.

Ensure that each VLAN has a unique IP address in a different sub network.

Enable IP forwarding

Add static routes
