6509 and 5000 problems trunking to a 1924

Can anyone help? I am having a problem getting my 1924's to connect in trunk mode to the 6509 and 5000. Some of the 1924's are fine, but others keep losing the connection. I know not all switches support DTP frames so I set both ends of the trunk to nonegotiate. The connect will come up but after awhile it gets lost, but the 6509 and 5000 still say it is connected. Any ideas?

6509 catOS (5000 is)? Errors on the ports? Native vlans the same? Can you post the configs of an example of two ports (one at each end)? Any errors reported?

The 5000 number is a 5000 Series switch, I have the 1924's hooked to both to 5000 series and 6509 series switches. They are both in the same native vlan, config was both set to trunk, nonegotiate for vlans 1-1005, isl. No errors on either sides.
