6509: Dual Sups, Native IOS

I don't think the sup-bootflash between two Sup2/MSFC2 will synchronize running Native IOS. So do I issuethe below to upgrade both? I know sync was automatic in CatOS...

copy tftp://168.20.10.16/bca/c6sup22-pk2sv-mz.121-19.E1.bin sup-bootflash:

copy tftp://168.20.10.16/bca/c6sup22-pk2sv-mz.121-19.E1.bin slavesup-bootflash:

config t

boot system flash bootflash:c6sup22-pk2sv-mz.121-19.E1.bin

end

copy running-config startup-config

Yes. When running Native IOS only the configuration is synchronised, you have to manually copy the IOS image onto the 2nd supervisor. Your command for setting the boot system flash is wrong however - bootflash: refers to the MSFC2 bootflash and NOT the Supervisor bootflash.

conf t

boot system flash sup-bootflash:c6sup22-pk2sv-mz.121-19.E1.bin

end

copy run start
