6509 - Limit UDP ports that IP HELPER Forwards

I have a rather unique situation involving Windows networking.

My PDC, and primary DHCP server for all of my VLANs are on the same box.

In order to facilitate DHCP across multiple subnets (VLANs), I have enable ip helper <ip addr of PDC> Because of this, my PDC repeatedly recieves browser anouncements from servers on other segments causing master browser elections to be forced.

My question is, is there a way to limit which UDP ports get forwarded by the IP helper?

Yup , in global mode do a " no ip forward-protocol udp ? " . This will give you all the options for udp that you can block .
