6509 SCP Communication Error on FLEX WAN Module

Serial communications protocol defines the protocol used to exchange messages between the Supervisor CPU and the line card in question.

Besides the RED status light, everything is ok? There was some cosmetic bugs issues related to this error message. What versions of software are you running on the Supevisor and MSFC.

I would suggest looking a the following for any issues. You may want to open a TAC case:

show test 4

show diag

show tech

console to the flaxwan module from the designated router "ipc-console 0", and get "sh tech" and "sh log" from the flaxwan card
