6513 high cpu usage on bdpu Tx Rx

Good Day, I have a site that has reduntant 6513's at the core showing high cpu usage on bpdu Tx Rx, I checked all access layer switched for port flapping, did not see any interface resets higher than a count of one. They are using PVST+ with 96 vlans. Using a sniffer to try and locate the source of the traffic. Have not been able to determine the reason the core is sending out all of the mcast bpdu's. Any ideas?

Probably you have too many trunks leading to high number of STP instances. Clear off not needed VLANs off the trunks and see if it helps.
