Hi All, I'm very confused by the Software Advisor tool. I'm looking for compatible IOS for my Cisco 2611 with a NM-4E. Software Advisor says i need a minimum of "64 + 1 = 65 MB" of DRAM. From what i know the router max out at 64MB. So what does it means by 65MB ? Where to get the extra 1MB from ?
Regards.

Don't worry about 1 MB. You can run some feature sets that require 96 MB (XM only) on a 64 MB (non-XM) routers. I wouldn't recommend it for a production environment, but 1 MB is doable.
I can't reproduce 64+1 however. I have tried 2611 with NM-4A/S with IP, IP PLUS, ENTERPRISE BASIC and ENTERPRISE PLUS feature sets.

Hi, it's easy to reproduce 64+1. Select 2611 with a NM-4E, enterprise basic.
I think i'll give it a try, since my routing table ain't big anyway.
Regards.
