7206VXR ifIndex-table, can anyone hand me a sample pls.

We have 2x 7206VXR routers with multiple serial interfaces (E1's). I would like to upgrade to a later version IOS but since the current version 12.0(7)T does not support "Ifindex Persistence" I will have to reconfigure both MRTG and Intermapper. :(

I would like to build the table, put it on the router and hope that the new IOS will pick it up and use it when it boots up.

Does anyone have a sample? Especially concerning the beginning and end of the file, the middle is easy to build.

I only have a sample from a 2621.

I don't want to botch this one.

Hi,

As far as I know, it is not easy to just us a simple editor to change the data. It may require a byte-to-byte decoding to fix it which I suppose is very hard to do manually and is not recommended.
