HI,

I just got a brand new 7300 router and powered it and it asked to upgrade the FPGA and i clicked yes.

subsequently it started programming successfully but the end result is that the 7300-CC-PA card (atm enhanced E3 line card is not recognized and the out is as shown below. Can anyone suggest how i can make active the line card again

"Router#GM-FPGA DLL out of lock (slot 2)

You need min 12.2(11)YZ which you have , from the sh diag it is showing your line card is wedged

Line Card is wedged, config failed , I would power the box off reseat the card and see if it comes up . If it is still wedged open a tac case

what is the meaning of "Line card is Wedged". I already tried powering off the box and powering ON after re seating the card in the slot..no improvement

I should open a tac case i guess..

Thanks for the quick support

Basically it means the card is hung , We used to get this a lot with old FE cards , One other thing I would try is trying a different slot . That way you have all the bases covered when TAC wants you to jump through hoops prior to an RMA

I triedputting into a diffnt slot as well but still I get the following error

"00:00:19: %LC-2-LCSYNC: Line Card type 963 in slot 3 serial link sync failed.

00:00:19: %LC-3-DEACTIVATED: line card in slot [3] deactivated.

DEC 40400164 40400150"

does it mean anything whcih can be rectified ?

yeah I would open a tac case good luck
