7507 and ipv6 multicast : memory and flash card issues

Hi,

I have a cisco 7507 router and I'd like to use it for ipv6 multicast. It's already routing an ipv6 network. My problem is it has only 64MB DRAM and 16MB flash card and the feature navigator seems to say I'll need 128MB DRAM and a 32MB flash card to use an ipv6 multicast supporting IOS image. Is it correct ?

If yes I'd like to upgrade it to the requiered hardware but can I use 32MB flash cards with my RSP2 ? and 64MB ?

Many thanks.

Oliver.

Hi Albert,

For IPV6 Multicast on 7500 series, min RAM is 128MB and Flash is 32MB. I guess you need to upgrade.
