7507 load ios image

copy a IOS image from the TFTP server to the PCMCIA located on the slot1 using the following command:

Router# copy tftp slot1:

But the entire file is not copied into the Flash memory. The failure message "buffer overflow" and "session terminated from the router" appear on the TFTP server.

IOS image file (copy ed to Slot 1) is invalid

when using slot0: Error messge is Same .

7507 : rsp2 * 2 128M(DRAM) slot0 Flash Card(16M)

Ios file <16M

I replace two flash card in slot1 error is same.

I using slot0 , Error is same.

please provide solution , thank you !!!!

You might be running into bug CSCdt10929. See the release note on the web for more info.

It is fixed in the latest 12.2. You could use rcp instead of tftp to do the upgrade.
