802.1q and DLSw

Our goal was to have remote offices with 1 2950-24T and a 2620. We need to do dlsw, but the 2950's don't support ISL trunking and the 802.1q doesn't support DLSw.

Will either of these things change in the NEAR future? (2950 and ISL, or 802.1q and DLSw).

I'm afraid both are not gonna happen. 2950 will not support ISL as it's a hardware limitation
