802.1q

Please help,

I would like to use dot1q encapsulation on fastethernet subinterface on 2621 router, but this command is unavailable. I have 12.0(7)T ios version, image file c2600-i-mz.120-7.T . What ios I should use? How to get it? Any suggestion

Re: 802.1q

I am not sure now but initially only ISL was supported on the routers.

Re: 802.1q

The best way is consult with your supplier (if you are end-user) As I looking on the feature list for this model. Dot1q is not exist. Only ISL is supported.

Re: 802.1q

I believe that ISL and 802.1q are only supported on IOS versions with a "Plus" feature set and the image file that you are using does not seem to be one of those versions.

Re: 802.1q

802.1q is only supported in later versions (12.1(5)T or later)
